Adding a small image to the corner of a specific section on a page

Hi there,

I'm aiming to have a small photo sit in the top or bottom corner of a page section. This code, placed in the custom CSS on the page has been the closest solution:

* {
background: url("my image URL that i copied from my uploads") no-repeat top right !important;
background-size: 350px !important;
}

The issues with this code is that the image is repeating many times on the right of the page, and it is cut off in various areas top to bottom.

Let me know if there's a way to solve this. I found similar threads, but that code is to have the background image covering the full section, which is not what i'm looking for.
