Has anyone added products from other shopify stores to their own store?

Hi, @TodHarrick!

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to provide some information.

You mentioned that you would like to add products from other Shopify stores to your own, are you referring to work as an affiliate to work with the company to sell their products? Essentially, you will work with the store to see if they can provide you with an affiliate link and you'll advertise it on your own store, blog or social network. When a customer makes a purchase through your link, you will get paid the commission that was discussed with the company. To learn more about how this process works, feel free to check out our Shopify Blog here.

Another option would be to implement a dropshipping model to your store. This model is an order-fulfillment method that lets store owners sell directly to consumers without stocking any inventory. So you will find a supplier that offers the products that you are looking for, and you will have the flexibility to advertise them as you like. If this interests you, I'd suggest checking out our guide called How to Start a Dropshipping Business.  You can also check out our reference that sources The 14 Best Dropshipping Suppliers to Work With to give you a better idea of what type of products you can offer in your shop.

Have you thought about which category of products you would like to sell? If so, I'd love to hear more!

Kindly reply back to this thread with any questions or updates and we can continue our conversation further.
