Adding Promotional Tiles To Cornerstone Theme

Hi all,

I would like to add promotional tiles to my store like the example shown. I would like if they are able to link through to certain pages/collections. We use the Cornerstone theme, this is our store www.allaboutagirl.co.nz 

Something that's important to us however is that because in some collections we have a low number of products, it doesn't show in all of our collections, or in some it only shows one tile rather than 3 (so that the promo tiles don't take up the entire collection).

Do you want to show 1 promo tile in some collections not all of them?
if yes, then it's possible but need your store access

Hi, I want to show multiple different product tiles in the larger collections and only 1 in the smaller collections.
I cannot give store access sorry but I would love to know the way that I can do it myself.
