Adjust "You recently viewed" section - Empire Theme

The section needs to be adjusted in size horizontally because the forward and backward arrows are too close to the images/products. Please see attached any solution for this?

You can find this section at the bottom of any collection page. We initially just wanted to change the color of the background of this section to white but once we changed the color it eliminate the color fade that you see pointed out and then the arrows look like they are too close to the product. Is there a way to get the arrows to be outside of the product rectangle, exactly like the 3rd image upload looks?

I did not find a solution, looks like we just ended up disabling the recently viewed section.
