Advise on theme, Dawn or Out of the sandbox retina upgrade?

Hello everyone,

My shopify expert seems totally unreachable, I need to upgrade my shopify website but I'm looking for a new developer. I'm also wondering if it's worth just upgrading my out of the sandbox theme retina or just implementing Dawn from Shopify? What's your thoughts?

Upgrading the theme without the help of the developer may cause data & loss of the theme customization.

I suggest you hire a developer to work on the theme for migration / updating the theme.
