Archive page - changes in code // Studio theme

Hello everybody!

Recently, I decided I want to create an Archive page on my webshop for a few reasons:

- for SEO purposes

- to show customers what kind of products we offer

- inspiration

The thing is, I'd like these products and the collection page to be a bit diffrent than a regular one.  By the way, I use the Studio theme.

For example:

- I'd like the "sold out" button to be changed to "LSV ARCHIVE" when the product has the tag "archive" on the product page and the collection page

- I'd like the size/variant button to disappear when the product has the tag "archive"

- I'd like the collection page to not display prices, so specifically for a different collection template the prices disappear. also for the collection template I'd like to show 3 products each instead of 4.

For the codes, I think I could figure it out mostly (hopefully). What I really need to know is for each code: WHERE DO I PUT IT? The code section is still mostly a maze for me at the moment.

Hi,

I think with those feature you are expecting, it's complicated feature and It cannot single line code can solved and beside that need handle on many files code. So if you need implement those thing you want i suggest you need ask to developer to help handle it.

Thanks for your reply 🙂 I've contacted the shopify development team and they'll be sorting this out for me with the free 60-minute development time I still had left. hopefully it'll be live soon!
