Auto-translate not working in Drop down description

This seems like it should be an easy fix but I am changing my product descriptions to drop down options and can't seem to figure out why there's no translation when switching language. My store's default is Japanese and used Translate & Adapt for all products/collections. It works in the page description but drop downs not translating. Any advice?
