AVENUE theme: Slide show showing white pictures and not loading.

My slideshow is on the top of my home page is only showing white pictures and the developer of my theme says its because of a currency menu on the bottom of my page? I dont know how to get rid of it or just to fix my slideshow so the pictures load.
