Background Image Size Problem

I want to make a background image for different sections, but I cannot find the right size. The images I make for the background usually do not look exactly as they should and distortions often occur. Unfortunately, the background images I made do not appear completely. (for example: Text columns with image, Footer, etc...).There is no size information on the internet for such sections. I would be glad if you can help me.
