Badges, custom fonts and <span> - can I customise further?

Hi folks,

I'm working on a site using a custom font and the Studio template. I can apply the custom font to different elements of the design, including the <span> tags. 

I want the 'sold' badge on a sold out product to appear in the custom font which requires me to check the <span> tags box in the custom font section. 

However, this also applies the custom font to the price, which I don't want. Screenshots for both options attached.

Is there a way around this?

This is easy to solve, but I need link to your storefront (yourstore.shopify.com), to offer the correct css selector
