Banner/Header bar above main header. phone icon alteration

hi,

I am looking to alter the phone icon etc on the very top level header on my site, its the one above the main header, I believe it is called the info bar section. I want to put an email icon with link to email address and beside it a phone icon with phone number when clicked, can someone tell me the coding I need to add to do this.
