Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi there,
I am at the final stages before publishing my shopify store but just need to make sure all my customers and order history is uploaded from wordpress to the shopify website.
Can anyone advise the best way to do this without having to have an ongoing subscription for a 3rd party app please?

This is an accepted solution.
I would use an app with a one-time payment. I recommend AppsByB: WooCommerce Importer, but that's mostly because I am one of the developers 😁
Most apps have a free tier, so for smaller shops (up to 50 products, up to 10 orders) you would be able to find an app that's free of charge.
To deal with everything with CSV's is a hassle, especially if you want to import meta data and orders. There is no native order import via CSV in Shopify, so you would need an app anyway.
more information would be great. Thanks

thanks for your honesty. I don't mind paying if it's reasonable and it works.
It's 50 blog posts I want to upload, about 2150 previous orders and 420 customers - do you think your app could achieve this?
I also need to download all of the media folder. Is that something it can do by any chance?
And do I install this on the shopify end and the wordpress end or just one of them? Thanks
You can install this just in Shopify. You do need to create API keys, but there is an easy explanation. Other apps work the same way.
Those numbers are not shocking. Our app does blog posts as well. The product images will automatically be uploaded to Shopify. If you have other images in the `wp-content` folder that you want to safeguard, you would need a backup app for Wordpress. There are plenty in the Wordpress plugin directory.
when you say safeguard, do you mean have a backup of before I lose access to wordpress?
Yes, I would always make a backup, just in case you need anything later. Database and 'wp-content/media', but if you have the possibility, I would make a full backup of all files and database.
Sorry - one last question. I’m looking at your pricing - what does it cost to export and import blog posts?
That's included with the product pricing, no additional charge
sorry, one more question please.
I run the demo mode - no blogs appeared so i'm guessing that's just available with the paid options?
And is it best to delete all orders and customers in shopify before running your app or will it overwrite? thanks
