Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I have a few people constantly trying to place orders with bad credit cards. I see their same citys constantly in the abandoned checkouts but since the abandoned cart does not show their IP addresses, I can't seem to block them. They do use different names and emails so I would like it to pop up a nasty message 🙂 when one of those emails is used. I can add the emails to a list manually. How and where in the code could I check the email address and do a block. I can do the coding, just need to know where or if there is an app already out that will do that.
Hi SandrasStitchS1,
If your goal is to block a specific list of emails, you might find the Fraud Filter app by Shopify useful. One of the benefits of this app is that it’s available at no cost. However, it’s worth noting that its ratings are somewhat lower compared to other apps in the Shopify App Store.
For additional options, you can explore the App Store by searching for “fraud filter” to find a solution that best meets your needs.
I hope you find this information helpful!
I would recommend the App "Checkout Blocks". It will let you create dynamic blocks that will render on your checkout page based on specific values of the order or customer.
