Blog posts - images won't center align

I am trying to edit out blog post to center align the images.  I have tried clicking both the icons below and selecting the center-align option, but it does not center align the images.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Online Store -> Theme -> Edit code

2. Open your theme.css file and paste the following code at the bottom:

.grid--article { 
    display: block;
}

Follow these Steps:

1) Go to Online Store
2) Edit Code
3) Find theme.liquid file

4) Add the following code in the bottom of the file above </body> tag

<style>
.grid.grid--article {
    display: flex !important;
    justify-content: center !important;
}
</style>

RESULT:
