Can I edit the code of a purchased theme?

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to shopify and I'm having doubt about editing themes. I would like to purchase the Showcase theme https://themes.shopify.com/themes/showcase/styles/luna and I've installed the trial version but  I noticed that there's no option for editing the code. Do you know if when I'll buy the theme I can also edit the code or the "edit code" option will still not show up? The thing is that I would like to install that theme and then edit the code to customise it.

I know this may be a dumb question but I just wanted to be sure before buying it.

Hi @archimed 

Trial themes do not allow you to edit any code, once you do buy it however you can customize it as much as you please.
