Can I have different images for a slideshow depending on desktop or mobile?

On desktop the image size for slideshows is 1600x500 so I end up having to crop my images to fit that criteria...but on mobile I'm able to get away with an image that's more square (1:1) so my cropped images that look good on desktop don't necessarily look good and mobile and vice versa.  So I wanted to know if there's some way for me to have different images depending on the user being a desktop or mobile user and how I would implement that.  Thanks!

Hi @namestolen ,

To display different images on different devices (like phones, tablets, and computers), you'll need to set up separate image fields in your Shopify theme. This means you’ll have to change the theme’s code to include these fields and adjust some scripts so the right image shows up on each device.

If you’re not familiar with coding, you might need to hire a Shopify expert to do this for you. But if you know a bit about coding, we can help by providing clear instructions on how to make these changes yourself.
