Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello @hesh
If you're experiencing difficulties changing the color scheme on the Dawn theme 10.0 in Shopify, there are a few possible solutions you can try:
Check Theme Settings: Start by checking the theme settings in your Shopify admin dashboard. The Dawn theme may have built-in options to customize the color scheme. Look for a "Theme Settings" or "Customize" option where you can modify the colors.
Edit Theme Code: If the theme settings don't provide the desired color customization options, you may need to edit the theme's code. Here's how you can do it:
Use Shopify Apps: If you're not comfortable editing the theme code directly, you can consider using Shopify apps specifically designed for customizing themes. These apps often provide a user-friendly interface to modify the color scheme and other design elements of your store. Look for apps like "Theme Editor" or "Customizer" in the Shopify App Store.
Remember to take a backup of your theme files before making any changes, and if you're unsure about modifying the code, it's recommended to consult a Shopify expert or developer for assistance.
I'm having this same problem when attempting to upgrade to Dawn version 11.0. Does this message (photo attached) imply that I need to add custom code to preserve the color default settings that come native in the current Dawn version 5.0 theme I'm using? Is there a way we can speak with a developer regarding this specific theme?
