When I try to add sub categories to my main menu it won't bring up the categories for me to select. Please see picture. It won't open the arrows to select the collection I want for the sub category. Not sure what to do.
@cjdray2 you need to add the menu you want THEN drag and drop it to the desired parent.
Yes it's a bit unintuitive that it's not part of the inital configuration when making a menu-item.

🗒Note there's a leave-feedback option on those pages, let them know it's confusing/unintuitive for beginners to just be expected to "know" drag and drop is required.

If the dropdown still won’t expand, you can add the collection manually like this:
Go to Online Store → Navigation
Choose your menu
Click Add menu item
Name: Sub Category Name
Link: Select Collections → All, then click "Show All Collections" — or paste a direct URL like /collections/your-sub-collection
