Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello,
I have this "Free monogram" option for my products.
https://www.golden-pigs.com/products/handmade-ceramic-blackboard-piggy-bank
Now it's mandatory...
The code used is this:
<input required="" id="monogram" style="width:120px; max-width:100%;" type="text" name="properties[Monogram]" data-gtm-form-interact-field-id="0">
BUT it was moved from <!-- /templates/product.liquid --> to Sections <!-- /templates/product.liquid --> and there ... it's missing.
I want to remove the "required" because it's stopping the add to cart if it's not filled.
AND if it's not too much a way to have this only for some products? Not mandatory. 🙂
Looking forward for your answers!
Kind regards,
Cristi
It seems to be inside the variant picker. You can check if there're any other file that renders variants. You can search for "option" or "variant" on file search.
