Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi folks, just having trouble with my main banner. It could be the dimensions with which the banner was designed, but is there a way to get rid of the extra white space that appears at the bottom in the headline banner, before the products?
I've attached a photo for you to see.
Thanks for your help!
Hey @thuorange1.
Thanks for reaching out.
I appreciate the screenshot that you have shared as well as letting us know which theme is being used. Based on Human Factor International’s research, white space helps increase the comprehension factor by nearly 20%. Added white space gives emphasis to your call to action buttons and key information. White space lets your visitors breathe and appreciate the website better since things are laid out well and easy to spot. A great article for reference on this research is Why Whitespace is so Important in Web Design.
With that being said, it looks like the Turbo theme, is a third-party theme that is *designed and supported by Out of the Sandbox. In order to reduce the spacing between the sections, it looks like it will require a change of coding. Since we are a bit unfamiliar with the style of coding that is used within the theme, it would be best to direct this inquiry towards their developers. They should be able to provide you with additional support and insight to making this change.
I did come across to finding their Contact Us page and wanted to provide it.
