Can't type into textfields (Debut Theme)

I have a very big problem with my online shop.

I can't type text into the search bar and the textfields when I try to create an account using Safari and my iPhone. When I use Chrome and Firefox on my PC everything works fine.

I am using Debut Theme.

Thank you for reaching out to the forums for support with this issue. I tested your store on my own devices and was able to replicate the issue within Safari on my iPad. Interesting side note, as long as I hadn't used the keyboard to enter a character I am able to use my pen to write into the search fields no problem.

Most fields I was able to add a single character with the onscreen keyboard before it locked up and I was not able to add or remove any additional characters. The website worked as expected though in Chrome on my pixelbook.

Your next steps for troubleshooting this issue should be as follows:

Add a brand new fresh version of the Debut theme to your store to test. Since your website is still password protected, I would recommend publishing the fresh theme and trying it out to see if you can replicate the issue. Once tested, you can republish the original theme file. 

If the issue does not persist on a fresh theme: This is most likely related to custom coding within the theme file or a third party app. Our support can help you continue troubleshooting to see if we can narrow down the cause, but I cannot guarantee we will be able to find it. 

If the issue persists on the fresh theme: Then this is most likely a bug within the Debut theme file or caused by an app that is auto injecting it's code into the theme file. I would reach out to our live support and have them escalate this to our Theme support team for a further review.
