Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I am selling art (paintings), and have three different materials;
1. Originaler
2. Kunsttrykk
3. Håndkolorerte kunsttrykk
I have made three different "materials" under these, with three different prices, and I have added the three in three different collection;
1. Originaler
2. Kunsttrykk
3. Håndkolorerte kunsttrykk
(The same as above).
The problem is, that when I am adding a Featured Collections with for example "Originaler", and the variant "originaler" is sold out, it will not appear "Sold out" on the Featured Collections. The price for the variant "Originaler" is not even showing (before it did say for example "from 8 000 USD"). If the customer is going to see the price, they have to click on the image, and then the prices of all the three "Originaler", "Kunsttrykk" and "Håndkolorerte Kunsttrykk" will appear with different prices (Wich is good). ut the price of the varian "Original" should appear when the featured collection is "Original".
Please help me
Is there a way to make Featured Collections based on materials/variants?

Hi @sondrehille Thanks for the URL, if the entire product is sold out then only it use to show "Sold Out" sign, if there will be 1 variant that is available then it will not show soldout.
It seems like there is issue in your theme code, that it is not showing the price even when all the variants are available.
But before looking into the theme code as you have mentioned that earlier it was working fine then you need to troubleshoot few points in your store:
If the above points are not correct then you have few options you can try to solve the issue:
Regarding this: Is there a way to make Featured Collections based on materials/variants?
Yes you can have the collection with both the condition.
Just go inside the Collection in the shopify admin-> Create new Collection-> Click on Automated-> Select the condition of your choice and the collection will be created.
If you will unable to implement the same then I'm happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the changes on the store so that this will work well for you.
Hopefully it will help you. If yes then Please don't forget hit Like and Mark it as solution!

Hi @sondrehille,
To address your issue effectively, I recommend the following solution:
Afterward, utilize the Easify Product Options app (with its exclusive Option URL feature) to link related products, specifically those featuring the same painting but made from different materials 🤗.
This approach ensures that in a collection, if a product is sold out, it will be appropriately displayed as sold out. Additionally, the displayed product price will reflect the pricing of the material associated with that collection.
On each product page, customers can still view the product in various available materials. If they select a different material, it will redirect them to the product page for that specific material. On the storefront (product pages), this creates the appearance of seamlessly switching among Shopify variants, but in reality, it involves transitioning between distinct products.
Demo:
I encourage you to try out the Easify app. Should you encounter any challenges during the setup process, don't hesitate to reach out to the team via the in-app live chat for prompt assistance.
