Cart quantity selector should not exceed available inventory - Supply Theme

Hi all! I've seen some similar posts to this regarding product pages and was able to figure out how to add code to restrict the quantity selector on product pages. However, I cannot figure out how to do the same to the Shopping Cart page. I am using the Supply Theme and while I can restrict users to only increase quantities up to available inventory on the product page, they can still increase the quantity in the shopping cart. An error message is given and they cannot proceed with the order but I don't think this is the best user experience. Can anyone give me code to add to the cart to limit the quantity selector to only allow the user to increase the quantity up to the currently available inventory?
