Change background color Spotlight 15.1.0

I've edited the theme to change from white to dark with the Spotlight theme but there still seems to be a background color that has remained white. I need this to be the same color as the rest of that black color. There is a white line below the header and again a big empty section of the footer. No idea why the theme color scheme wouldn't cover this....

Thanks for the info, check this one.

From you Admin page, go to Online Store > Themes

Select the theme you want to edit

Under the Asset folder, open the main.css(base.css, style.css or theme.css)

Then place the code below at the very bottom of the file.

main#MainContent {
    background: #242833;
}

Thanks, It solved the top white line, but the footer bottom is still white on the homepage and on the product detail page.

So the white line on the product detail page was due to related products module, but not sure why there is all the white space below the main footer.
