Change colour 404 page button - dawn theme

I would like to change the colour of the 404 button on www.hundben.se

Anyone knows how? 🙂

You can change the button color with the CSS code.

Please add the below mentioned code at the bottom of the theme.liquid file before </body> tag and save.

a.button {
background: green !important;
}

</style>

2. Find Asset > base.css and paste this at the bottom of the file:

.button, .shopify-challenge__button, .customer button {
background: rgb(91 126 10);
}

Do you like to add border with it or just take out the border blue? 

To take out border color. 

From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on "Online Store" and then "Themes".

Find the theme that you want to edit and click on "Actions" and then "Edit code".

In the "Assets" folder, click on "base.css, style.css or theme.css" file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:

.template-404 .button {
  --border-opacity: unset !important;  
}

And save.

Tried it, still not working.. Could it collide with the code from before that changed the colour to green?

Nope, you add it in the wrong way. please take out the code first and paste it on the very last } closing bracket on the base.css. 

the last closing bracket must be only one. 

you have 4 on here. You dont need to add anything just copy and paste. Dont delete also, just control z to go back.

if your not confident to add code in the base.css go to the Customize theme > Click the 404 pages. And click the tepmplate on the left side. Then there will be some visible Custom Css on the right.

Then paste the code. 

And Save.
