Change Variant Selector to Dropdown on Mobile - Dawn Theme

Hey All,

Does anyone know how to make the variant selected a dropdown when on mobile? I want to use it as "pills" on desktop but switch to dropdown on mobile, but there are no native options to change depending on the device. Working with the Dawn theme. I didn't find any resources on this. Thanks in advance 🙂

Possible but need customization.

A basic idea is enable both options on each mode and hide/show them a/to the screen size.

Thanks for the quick help. Is it possible to have more than one variant option? I considered duplicating the variant selector item and displaying one on desktop and one on mobile, but it doesn't look like Shopify likes that. Screenshot attached.

That's a little hook we need to check.

btw by default not possible to enable more than one variant selector. 
We need to extend this functionality.
