Changing Sender Name in Notification Emails

Hi all,

Recently, I started my shop and did an actual order of a product that I carry.

I noticed that the Sender Name in my Notification Emails appear as 'me' instead of my store name. This is not right.






The Store Name in Settings > General is correct.

The 'recipient email' is another of my other personal emails and is not associated with my store in any way.

What else could cause the Sender Name to appear as 'me' in the notification emails?

Hello there,

Any automated email notifications will use the Store name field as the sender for emails. You will find the field in Settings > General, it is the first field there.

Any manually sent emails sent out will simply show the email address used instead. An example of this would be when you click on a customer's email from an order page, and contact them with a customized message. This instance would use the email as the sender. This is not adjustable.
