Hi, I'm using the Prestige Theme and I have a couple of things that I'd like to change about the checkout, but I can't seem to be able to change the settings. 

 

Here are my questions: 

1) When a product is put in the cart, it says "shipping & taxes calculated at checkout" at the bottom. That's not correct because my prices already include VAT. So, can I remove this text or edit it? 

2) Would it be possible to show the shipping cost immediately at this step (rather than having to type in personal data, and then only see the shipping cost afterwards)?

3) I'd also like to edit some of the wording, for instance "zum checkout" isnt really common in German. So where can I change the wording?

So to answer your first question, all texts in your Shop can be found and edited in the Theme language editor as depicted below and here you can really let your creative juices flow in order to make your store language stand out from the rest! Simply click into your theme and choose the following option and then search for the relevant text using the language editor search box:

The precise shipping costs in the cart is difficult as the system doesn't know the customer's address yet. How do you calculate the shipping costs if the system doesn't know where the customer lives and in what country or city? Do you perhaps have an idea how that should be done Regina? Let me know and I'll gladly take a further 👁️.

 

You can however use one of our shipping rate calculator or "free shipping" urgency apps that can really increase your conversions as well as your AOVs (average order values) by showing a general shipping rate on the cart page. See a demo here:

So an app like the above Screenshot can really increase your conversions. Don't forget, to increase your conversions, your customers may also want to know the delivery dates so they can plan for the exact arrival of the product (e.g. in case it is a Christmas gift etc. and Chrimbo is only around the corner!...).

Vielen Dank für die Antworten!

 

Beim Punkt Versandkosten geht es mir darum, dass es in meinem Shop zurzeit nur eine Möglichkeit gibt (Versand innerhalb Dtl), d.h. sobald ein Produkt im Warenkorb ist, sind die VK klar. Aber verstehe auch, wenn das technisch schwieriger umzusetzen ist.

Wenn du eine Flat Rate von EUR 4,90 anbietest dann kannst du das gerne auf der Produktseite anzeigen per dem Spracheditor den ich oben abgebildet habe. Wäre das nicht eine einfache und kostenfreie Lösung?
