Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello and good day, I am looking for some recommendations for my Shopify store. I'm looking for a theme, doesn't matter if it's paid or free, I am trying to stay away from third party only because my last store ended up not working after the upgrade to Shopify 2.0 so I would like to stay away from that. But what I'm wanting if it's at all possible is a theme that does not require any code. I used to use the turbo theme from out of the sandbox which I really liked but I ended up having to spend close to $2,000 because of all the coding it required. My niche is home decor so I definitely need to have something with a mega menu, welcome and exit pop-ups, a wish list, things of that nature. I'm willing to spend anywhere up to four or $500 for a theme if I need to as the way I see it the more bells and whistles that come with the theme the less coding I'm going to run into in the long run. Any suggestions that anybody could make would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance for your responses. Best, thank you!

Thank you for reaching out with your request. Based on your requirements, I have a few recommendations for Shopify themes that should suit your needs:
Shopify's Own Themes: Shopify's own themes are always a safe bet as they are fully supported by Shopify and less likely to encounter issues during updates. Check out the Debut or Minimal themes which are free and very user-friendly.
Empire by Pixel Union: This paid theme (around $350) is perfect for stores with a lot of products and comes with features like a mega menu, wish list, and various pop-up options without the need for extensive coding.
Narrative: If you're looking for something free and visually appealing, Narrative is a great choice. It’s highly customizable and includes built-in features that cater to storytelling, which can be great for showcasing home decor products.
Venture: This is another free theme from Shopify which includes a mega menu and is designed for stores with a large number of products. It's straightforward to use and does not require any coding.
Impulse by Archetype Themes: Priced at around $310, Impulse is a feature-rich theme that includes a mega menu, various pop-ups, and customization options that do not require coding. It's well-suited for the home decor niche.
Prestige by Maestrooo: A bit on the higher end at $320, but it’s highly polished and includes built-in features that would minimize the need for coding, such as a mega menu, pop-ups, and more.
For your specific needs like a mega menu, welcome and exit pop-ups, and a wish list, these themes provide robust built-in functionalities that should help you avoid any additional coding expenses.
I hope these suggestions help you find the perfect theme for your Shopify store. Best of luck with your home decor business!
