Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello,
We currently have a product page dedicated to each color (for example, one page for the blue shorts, one for the beige shorts, etc.). We would like to maintain this structure, but I also want to give customers the opportunity to see the different color variants more quickly.
To achieve this, I would like an option for a variant to be clickable and open a link to another product we have in the shop. For instance, on the product page for the beige shorts, I would like the color variants "beige" and "blue" to be displayed, and when clicking on "blue," it should redirect customers to the product page for the blue shorts.
I hope this is clear. Is it possible to implement this? I've seen this feature on some websites, but I don't know how to proceed.
Thank you very much!
Chloé
Hi @Chloe2 👋 YES this is very possible with advanced theme customizations.
It's roughly "sibling-products", or product families aka flat products.
More advanced is instead of redirects is rerendering in the other products data to the page replacing the content and updating the url.
