Code for button to run script

Hi Guys,

I have an email pop up form script that i would like to run once a button is clicked. 

The script i would like to run is:

and i would like this script to run on a button in my page template liquid file. Ideally i would like to give the button an ID name so that i can style it.

Is this possible?

I would also really like to know how an email popup form could be triggered if the announcement bar is clicked. I guess that sort of falls under the same umbrella as the original question.

I'm using the default announcement bar in Debut theme. And the Popup form is using Klaviyo. Currently the behavior is that the popup form shows up when the page is loaded. But I need the user to also be able to show the form when they click the announcement bar (or any button, like in the original question)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
