hi I’m trying to get my variant swatches to automatically apply as the pictures I selected for them, I would really want a interface like the picture I sent from  https://luckyfours.com/products/caspian

I would appreciate to do it as coding and not a app

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

You don't need to customize the code to create image-style color variants. Please check out the demo image below.

All you need to do is edit the color option and select the appropriate images for them.
