Collection product image fit in

Hi, on my shopify site with the dawn theme all my products are shown like the picture attached. I want that the product image fits into the square, so the sneaker is completely visible. How can I make that happen? Thanks in advance.

try by changing the image ration to adapt to height option or potrait from the customization.

Doesn't work unfortunately, because the product image is a rectangle and I prefer it being showed as a square.

Then there is no way to change it by making change in the code side.

There is. Other shopify discussions came with a solution, like this one: https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-design/make-images-fit-in-picture-collection-page/m-p/227614...

But the code that is written in the solution doesn't work for me.
