Color swatches impulse theme - tied to product images

Hello everyone,

I am using the impulse theme and I am trying to get the color swatches to work but without any success.

I want the color swatches to be tied to the corresponding picture. I have turned on swatches in the section settings and also in the theme settings but it doesn't work.

If anyone can explain how to fix this. I have tried the guide of Archtype but that didnt work either wherein I upload an image with the correct name into my file database. 

Could it be an error in my code? Or I am just doing it wrong?

Hi @Peter2020 It may be both, there can be the issue in the code or you may be doing it in the wrong way, You need to first check the guide from Impulse theme so that you can follow the steps provided by them and find out if it will work fine or not.

If not then you need to connect with the theme support and they can provide you the exact solution for the issue.

The above solution will work only if your theme provide this functionality by default,

if your theme doesn't provide this functionality by default, then you can use the 3rd Party app from the Shopify App store, there are few free app that can help you in this case.

If you will unable to implement the same then I'm happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the code changes so that this will work well for you.
