Constraining the video container on product page - Pipeline theme

Hi there, currently on my product page, when a video is clicked, the space expands, I want to constrain the video container to 1:1 ratio without cropping my video, is this possible?

the height of the video is more than the height of the images used in the product. ( both are 100%)
this will need custom coding to adjust the height of the video and images.
