Create a slider on desktop for subcollections on collection page for Dawn 11.0.0 theme

Hi I am wondering how I can create a slider for subcollections on the collections page. I have added collection list using a custom template for a collection. if the subcollections are more than the Number of columns

displayed on desktop, I want to have a slider instead of a stacked display

In the screenshot for example. I want the accessories column grid to be in a slider not in the next row.
