Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I am using a theme based on the Debut theme.
I am looking at the Collections page to make some edits, but I'd like to keep the Default collection template there if needed later. At the top of the theme editor page there is the drop down to select the template page to edit, when I select Collections the only item is "Default collection". Is there a way I can add my own template there and choose that?
Hopefully my image makes sense 🙂
Cheers 🙂
@G-W- hello, yes it can be done, just a few changes that, this list shows the created collections, so if you create collection ABC, then it will be shown after default collection.
You can create separate template for collection ABC and make changes which would be specific for this particular collection.
Thanks I will give that a try
Looking for a real solution to this - the previous answer did not understand the question. The question is not how to create a colleciton, it is where and how to create a seperate TEMPLATE to use for MULTIPLE COLLECTIONS. Someone please help.
@LibertyJason - you can create template for collection from edit code option, and then clicking create new template
