Currency Conversion Issue: Conflicts Between Vitals Currency Converter and Refresh Theme Converter

Hello everyone,

I'm facing a critical issue with currency conversion on my Shopify store. I have the Vitals currency converter enabled, and it works fine until the customer proceeds to the cart or checkout page. At that point, the currency reverts back to my store's default currency (EUR), which is causing confusion and potentially losing sales (I am having so many abandoned checkouts that I had to pause all advertising).

I've already activated all the Markets, so the issue doesn't seem to be there. After reaching out to Vitals support, they ran a script and found that the default currency converter of my theme is still active and conflicting with the Vitals converter.

I've tried to disable the default currency converter from the theme settings by unchecking the "Enable country/region selector" in the footer, but it appears to still be active.

I'm using the Refresh theme by Shopify, and I need help on two fronts:

  1. How can I completely disable the default currency converter of the theme?
  2. How can I ensure that the currency selected by the customer remains consistent through the cart and checkout pages?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
