Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hey there!
I am building a POD storefront and I have my shirts loading and am currently trying to change the color options. When I go to edit the hex codes in the custom colors box for a product it changes the colors for all products. How do I go about stopping this? I won't be offering the same colors for each shirt.
Thanks In Advance
To stop the global color change, you need to adjust color settings for each product variant separately. Go to your Shopify admin, then open each product and edit the color under the Variants section to ensure each shirt has its own color options. If your theme has global settings for color, check theme settings > product options to ensure color changes don’t apply universally. Also, if you’re using a POD app like Printful or Printify, make sure you select unique colors for each product directly within the app
