Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi there,
I have an issue where my custom font is not showing up (specifically on Safari) on one page only. Every other instance on the site, it is working just fine. Could anyone advise?
My page is www.thespiralpath.love if needed.
Safari:
Chrome:
Thanks in advance!
Hi
How peculiar! What you saw in Safari, I'm now seeing in Chrome! Is this the font: font-family: SwearDisplay-Cilati;?
Terence.
Yes, that's correct! So strange.. It shows up fine on my chrome.
Is it only happening with this font, or is there inconsistency across all fonts?
Only this font and only this one page!
The discrepancy you're seeing in how the font renders in Chrome and Safari could be due to differences in how each browser handles font rendering or supports the specific font family "SwearDisplay-Cilati". It's also possible that there are variations or inconsistencies in how the font is implemented or supported across different platforms and browsers.
But I already remedied that problem with another developer and it's rendering just fine on all the other pages.
I figured it out in the specific page code! Thanks for your replies!
I'm glad you managed to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, due to the absence of a MacBook, I cannot directly access the Safari browser. While it's possible to implement browser-specific coding, it's always best to experience the results firsthand. For instance, if you're using the 'Brave' browser, there might be inconsistencies across different website sections. Nonetheless, please don't hesitate to inform me if you encounter any further issues.!
