Customizing Theme After Google Merchant Center Approval

Hi Shopify Community,

I recently received approval from Google Merchant Center for my store and I'm looking to make some changes to my theme. Specifically, I want to enhance the product pages by adding images with text for new products.

Is it possible to customize my theme after receiving approval from the Google Merchant Center? I currently have plain text on my product pages and would like to update them to include images with text. Will this affect my approval status with Google Merchant Center?

Google does not allow text, branding, watermarks etc on images, however you can have it on the website, just not in the data feed. https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324350

I've followed the Google Merchant Center guidelines diligently. Can I add a product features section above the buy button and include images in the product description to enhance my product pages without violating any policies? (Google Merchant Center is approved)
