Dawn theme 11 makes slideshow transition worse

Hello,

I just upgraded my Dawn theme from 9 to 11 and backed the whole code up.

After I looked at the website I realised that the slideshow was not smooth in transition as before.

Before: Changes from one picture to another smoothly. After: Changes from one picture to another and while doing that the other pictures gets full white/removed. I compared the both codes and found nothing obvious.

I would appreciate any help.

Can confirm this sucks on the Sense theme (as of today, at least).

Hey so instead of listening to the “i am a shopify expert pay me and i will code it in” vultures. I found somewhat of a solution here https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-design/change-duration-time-and-effect-for-slideshow-on-dawn...  it dosent make it perfect but it fades the images as they slide and definitely gives a much smoother transition. Just add in the custom liquid on the page with the slideshow and set the padding to 0. Hope it helps 🙂
