Dawn Theme 2.0 - Homepage banner is not sticking to header, instead creates gap and drags down.

Hello everyone, 

I've noticed on my ultrawide display at home, that my banner drags down, rather than sticking to the header as I expand my browser downwards. See below:

I am following Dawn's recommendations of having aspect ratio at 3:2 and have the below settings enabled:

Follow this:

Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code->base.css->paste bellow code in bottom of file

.gradient{

     display: block !important;

}

Thank you - this did work in getting the banner to behave correctly, but it then threw out my collection and product images. See below:

Whilst it's snapped the image up to the top, it's now throwing the text out on the banner as seen below: 

The collections view is also messing up, with several elements greyed out and unclickable:

I think you should now contact the theme so they can assist you in this issue.
Since I also can't get deep into the theme to test this issue. I can only look for external causes.
