Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello, I'm working on my website and want all of the backgrounds to be black, with text being white. I coded all the body text to appear white, but now the text in the the product filter drop-down menus blends into the background. Looking to change the background to black so all the filter text can be seen. I've tried a few different code edits from the community channels but nothing is working yet.
I'm editing in the Dawn theme.
Thank you!

Hey @oakrows, I'm not so sure if this is what you meant:
But if it is, try adding this to your CSS:
#SortBy{
background-color: #121212;
color: white;
}
I would recommend using the variables of your theme in determining the color, but if you just want to make it a quick fix, try the CSS above.
This is the result:
Hi @oakrows ,
You can try this code by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code.
Step 2: Search file theme.liquid
Step 3: Paste the below code at the bottom of the file -> Save
<style>
.facets__display,facets__display *{
background:black;
color:white
}
</style>
Hope my solution works perfectly for you!
