DAWN theme - Change spacing between mega menu drop-down sections + add vertical lines

Good evening,

I'm just starting out (my store is an early "work in progress") but already have a really nice hang of things thanks to amazing interface and WYSIWYG approach.

I'd just like to change spacing between mega menu drop-down items and add vertical lines between them.

I've already seen the solutions and tried pasting code from the solutions - it literally doesn't do anything at all. Shop view stays the same.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

PS. Drop down text (Like "Women's short sleeve") in one line would also be great.
