Dawn Theme: How to Show Second Image on Hover

Hi all,

I'm currently using the Dawn theme but I want to enable the ability to show a second image upon hovering. At the moment there's a hover zoom effect.

How would I go about enabling this?

Hello @Phipz ,

This option is by default available in Dawn theme for collection and homepage collection. Check in homepage collection section and collection page settings here you find  an option with checkbox 'Show second image on hover'

Okay...I figured out how to achieve this with the Featured Products portion of the homepage, but I cannot figure out how to apply it to ALL product pictures. Can someone give me a play-by-play? Not very tech savvy over here!

on the homepage collection section click on the product grid template, and on the right of the screen in the settings of the product grid template you will have a checkbox for the option

On the right hand menu go to 'Online Store' and then choose 'Customise'. At the top of the screen you will see 'Home Page' is automatically chosen for you. Drop down the menu and choose 'Collections' then 'Default Collection'. From the right hand menu choose 'Product Grid'. Tick the checkbox for 'Show second image on hover.

Don't forget to click Save.
