dawn theme product image light box completly a disaster

hey guys i just set up my shop with the dawn theme and enabled the light box, actually i was used to a light box reacting like "photo swipe" for example so that the image just get centered in the middle of the screen a bit bigger sized and i can use my fingers to zoom in and zoom out. instead the light box just makes the picture as big as the screen and its not really a box anymore where i can see the picture. i attached a "perfect" example of how the light box should act like + the picture how its with the dawn theme. do you guys have any solution how to fix this??
