Dawn Theme Variant selector not working on mobile

I've just launched a new website using Dawn Theme. The variant selection pills work fine on desktop but on mobile the selector doesn't work. It always defaults to the smallest variant when added to cart despite available stock.

Does anyone know the answer to resolving this?
