Debut Theme - How to make featured blog images appear in the actual blog post?

I would like my featured blog images (that appear on my homepage) to also appear within the actual blog post (once you click inside them). Any help to make this happen would be much appreciated.

I too am trying to get my images to show on the blog post as well as the preview.  I am using the Debut theme and have accessed the theme templates, however, there is nothing in my templates folder named article-template.liquid.  

I do have a blog.liquid and an article.liquid file inside the Templates folder that I can edit, but neither one of those has a <div class="rte"> in it.

Any suggestions or answers would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Honestly very sad that this is not the default behavior of the blog posts. Something like this should not require editing the code of the template.

Hello,

The answer above says that you should be looking for article-template.liquid. This is correct but it is in the "sections" not the templates. Once you are there you can add the code to show the image above the blog post. Hope this helps!

Hi- tried the solution and I get this error message. Says ..."line 45 schema tag cannot be nested in other tags"  Can anyone assist thanks.

Thanks for all the information.  I was ab;e to attach the code, and the picture looks great. But only on the desktop version.  On the mobile version, it appears to try and wrap the text, but it looks hella weird.  it like 10 words squeezed in on the right side of the phone.  If you have an update, that would be great.
