1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/theme.css ->paste below code at the bottom of the file.

    padding: 5px; /* change valu as you like */
    display: block;
}

Great. Thanks! That works...would it be possible to add the color green (like the one of the announcement bar) to the background of the images.?

Also, is there a way to make the images a little bit smaller so that I don't see them cut when I use a larger screen? (see screenshot)
